Øens Have is an urban organic farm at Refshaleøen, featuring vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, buzzing bees, clucking chickens, wild birds, insects, and micro-life.
We are the sister farm to ØsterGro and share the same vision of making the city greener.
By creating an easily accessible, regenerative organic urban farm, we aim to inspire people to reconnect with nature through our weekly volunteer days, tours, workshops, courses for kids, and farm-to-table experiences. Take a look at our Calendar.
In the heart of the garden, you'll find our restaurant, which serves the best seasonal farm-to-table dishes made with ingredients from our own garden, local organic farmers, and low-impact fishermen. Here, we bring people together for food experiences and long-table dinners, with a focus on seasonal vegetables.
We hope that with Øens Have we can provide a platform for reconnecting with nature and highlight the importance of urban green spaces.
Our beautiful yurts host our lovely restaurant, as well as hands-on workshops, insightful lectures, one-of-a-kind weddings, educational courses for schoolchildren, garden parties, and much more.
Every Tuesday, from April to October, we invite everyone to join our Volunteer Day, where you can become part of the community and join us in the garden. Together, we share a communal lunch, featuring the best produce from the garden and the season
Øens Have is Certified Organic as of 2023 and are active
members of the urban regenerative agriculture movement
We started back in 2014 when we opened Denmark’s first urban rooftop farm, ØsterGro. Our vision has always been to make the city greener, create ecosystems that feel less alien, and build local communities around food and ecology.
