Øens Have is a sprawling green oasis at Refshaleøen with vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, buzzing bees, clucking chickens, wild birds, insects and microlife.
In the middle of the garden you will find our restaurant. Its main purpose is to bring people together, satisfying the hunger and thirst of our wonderful guests.
From farm to table, we are working hard finding the best local and organic products for you and working with the most interesting producers around from local organic farmers to low impact fishermen. Our food is served family style in a relaxed atmosphere inside of our beautiful yurt tents or outside under the open sky.
By creating an easily accessible, regenerative urban farm, we want to inspire urban citizens to reconnect through our weekly volunteer day, tours, workshops, courses for kids and food experiences.
Our beautiful yurts are hosting our lovely restaurant, but also hands-on workshops, insightful lectures, one-of-a-kind weddings, green teaching courses and much much more
. They are also a gathering space for the communal lunches we share with locals and visitors from all over the world at our weekly volunteer days in the garden.
We hope that with Øens Have we can provide a platform for reconnecting to nature and show the importance of urban green spaces.
Øens Have is Certified Organic as of 2023 and are active members of the urban regenerative agriculture movement
We started back in 2014, when we opened up Denmarks first urban rooftop farm ØsterGro. Our vision is and has always been to make the city greener and ecosystems less alien, as well as to grow local communities around food and ecology.
